EKU Among Top 20 Best Schools for an Online Political Science Degree
The EKU Online bachelor’s degree in political science is one of the best in the United States according to Affordable Colleges Online. Eastern Kentucky University was named # 18 in the rankings, and was the highest ranking Kentucky school to make the list.
Affordable Colleges Online identified the best political science schools using data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). To qualify, schools were required to be accredited, not-for-profit institutions. Quality and affordability are evaluated. EKU was one of several programs highlighted with tuition under $10,000 per year. The most expensive program to make the list was nearly $25,000 per year.
Online degree programs were compared on a variety of criteria, including the number of students using financial aid, the acceptance rate, the graduation rate and cost. Reviewers also noted whether or not the university provided counseling and job search assistance.
