EKU Online Students Earn Arts & Sciences Degrees

Eastern Kentucky University awarded 61 degrees and certificates to 2016 EKU Online graduates in the College of Arts and Sciences. Commencement exercises took place on Friday, May 13.

The College of Arts & Sciences offers EKU Online degree programs in political science, public administration, general studies, psychology, paralegal studies and music education. Online education began at Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 with one class of six students. Today, there are more than 3,000 online students. In Spring 2016, EKU Online graduates were awarded 504 degrees and certificates: 14 associates; 224 bachelor’s; 204 master’s; 10 doctorate; and 52 specialist and certificate designations.
